How can I create a new page?

Important notes: First: Once you create your first page, you'll realize it's actually a lot easier than you'd think from seeing all these steps listed out in detail! Second: Before creating a new page, please perform one or more searchs first using the name (and key concepts) of your new page to ensure the page or overly similar ones don't already exist!

1. Study how similar pages are created by clicking their "edit" tabs to see how they've been constructed; pay particular attention to any top section in between the double { } brackets
2. If you have questions before you feel comfortable creating a new page, feel free to email info at snpedia dot com
3. Enter the name of the page you would like to create in the search bar.
4. As long as the page doesn't already exist, SNPedia will give you an option to create the page.
5. Add content to your new page

   Optional: Add the appropriate 'Category' tag to the end of your new page, or add information for a template using the double { } brackets

6. Click on 'Show preview' to review the new page
7. Click on 'Save page' to save your changes, entering the two terms in the Captcha box.
8. Study your creation - it's now live! - and if you see an error, be the first to correct it.

   Optional: make links to your new page from other pages so that other people can find it more easily (see Edit Pages for instructions)

9. If you're happy with the result, congratulate yourself on a job well done!
