Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) commonly used for the reduction of mild to moderate pain, fever, inflammation and stiffness caused by a wide variety of conditions. Naproxen is most commonly sold in the U.S. under the trade name of Aleve.
