I'm unclear on whether the rs28940279 SNP is shared by everyone, shared by only Ashkenazi Jewish people or is specific to the Vilna region among Ashkenazim. I have the AA variant and I'm wondering if that is enough to determine a match to Vilna or Ashkenazim in general, or do only AC variants make the match likely? Thanks!
