Chronic lower respiratory disease

Chronic lower respiratory disease is a category of diseases affecting the lower respiratory tract (including the lungs). Such diseases include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, chronic bronchitis, and several smoking-related disorders. Less common chronic lung disorders such as cystic fibrosis are also considered to be in this category of diseases.
